Knicks point guard Baron Davis has made the jump into the mobile gaming business. Davis has connected with a former EA Sports exec Sean O’Brien to form “5 Balloons Interactive”. The company will produce a new mobile games for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
The first game is already available in the app store and is titled, “Getting Buckets.” The game which is a take off of popular games like “Temple Run” gives you the option of playing with one of five NBA or WNBA players where you maneuver through various levels picking up buckets – while dribbling – in the allotted time.
In addition to featuring Davis, the game also gives you the option of getting “buckets” with Steve Nash, Rajon Rondo, Brandon Jennings, or Candace Parker.
Davis has several other ventures he’s working on including, The NOC YouTube channel. Getting into the app craze via mobile gaming is extremely savvy. The apps that tend to make the most in sales are interactive ones.Both Mike Tyson and Chad Ochocinco – or Johnson- released gaming apps in the past couple of years.
