The Dab has been everywhere this season. We’ve watch Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton, College coaches like LSU’s Les Miles and Ohio State’s Urban Meyer and more have celebrated with the dance.
Rapper 2 Chainz took the phenomenon one step forward and created a “dabbin Santa” ugly Christmas sweater. The sweater was so popular, the Atlanta native generated $2 million in sales. The best part of the story, a portion of the proceeds went back into the community via his T.R.U. Foundation.
2 Chainz paid for a year’s rent and new furniture for Deirdre Palmetto, a disabled veteran and single mother from Georgia. There also is a donated minivan to an Atlanta family who lost everything in a house fire.
2 Chainz has been creating merchandise for a few years per his interview with Forbes, but this year the design took off.
