Female journalist are often subjected to innuenedo that they use their looks or “charms” to get by in an industry dominated by men.
At times, its other women who are the worst perpetuators. Today’s example involves the wife of Washington Redskins GM Scot Mccloughan and ESPN reporter Dianna Russini.
Jessica McCloughan tweeted that Dianna Russini was responsible for the leaks coming out of the Redskins franchise. She also implied that Russini was getting her scoops by using oral sex.
A quick perusal of Jessica’s Twitter bio indicates that she clearly feels “second rate reporters whose looks rank a “5.5” are getting by in life.
That sounds like a woman who strongly believes her husband has stepped out on her. But publicly attacking someone without proof has a downside.
Initially McCloughan denied the account was hers. And then the account was magically deleted all together.
Shortly after, the Redskins sent an apology from Mrs. McCloughan to BSO.
That plan pretty much backfired.
