Sidepieces beware, a new precedent was established in a Los Angeles court room this week. V. Stiviano, the woman responsible for recording former Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s racist remarks that were leaked last year, has to return $2.6 million in gifts she received from Sterling.
Judge Richard Fruin Jr. ruled that Sterling’s ex-lover owes his estranged wife, Shelly, for items Donald purchased for her with community property.
During the course of V. Stiviano’s 2 1/2 years with Donald, the new billionaire gave her a Ferrari, a Bentley and a Range Rover, plus paid the lion’s share of a $1.8 million duplex.
V. didn’t make any money from the TMZ leaks, and now she has to give back her toys and her home. Hope she had a savings account somewhere. I expect the announcement of a book is soon to follow.
