Now the whole truth comes out. This was a classic example of where there is smoke, there’s sure to be fire. Eva’s publicist was doing damage control when announcing that it was 100% false that Tony had filed for divorce. In actuality it was Eva that filed do to Tony’s alleged infidelities. Minor detail as to who filed 1st in my opinion but this is HOLLYWOOD so establishing your position first gives you priority.
Now the juicy stuff, per Eva’s good friend Mario Lopez (that relationship was always odd to me but that’s not important), Eva found hundreds of text messages from mutual female friend on Tony’s phone. According to Sports Illustrated writer Bryan Armen Graham, the female in question is Erin Barry, the wife of former Spurs player Brent Barry. Ironically, the couple is going through a divorce of their own. However considering that most Jocks’ marriages end in divorce once their playing days are over, is it really that ironic?
But back to the main idea, Billy Bush of Access Hollywood reached out to Erin for comment and tweeted this, “We spoke to erin barry…Brent Barry’s wife from San Antonio Spurs…she cried and said “No comment”. #ahcom. TP was texting her.”
Eva made her own “Twitter Statement”: “It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.”
I know people are shocked at the idea that Parker not only may have been creeping but doing it with his teammates wife. The reality is, I’d venture to say this happens far more frequently than people would like to admit. If the divorce is amicable I guess we’ll never be privy to all the sordid details.
