Injured Knicks guard Iman Shumpert has shown that he has a healthy respect for those that have come before him. Shump posted a photo of himself and throwback Knick, Anthony Mason on Instagram. Mase was apart of those 90’s Pat Riley Knicks teams that weren’t punks on the Hardwood.
Mason was apart of the Knicks front court comprised of Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley and Charles Smith. The team made it to the 1994 NBA finals and Mase received the “Sixth Man of the Year” award in 1995.
