Terrell Owens Assistant’s 911 Call – Says She Thinks He May Have Attempted Suicide [Audio]

Earlier this month (October 6th) there were reports that Terrell Owens was transported to the hospital via ambulance for a prescription pill overdose. TMZ has obtained the 911 call from that night and his assistant does in fact say to the operator that she believes it was an attempted suicide.

The audio also includes the assistant speaking to one half of Terrell Owens PR duo, Kita Williams by phone, searching for the bottle of pills and informing the operator that Terrell was awake.

T.O. 911 Call Audio

During the call, placed at 11:02 PM, the dispatcher asks the assistant on the phone, “Was this a suicide attempt?” — and she responds, “Yes, I believe so.”

While she was on the phone with the dispatcher, the woman claims T.O. was “talking to his girlfriend, ex-girlfriend … [I]don’t really know what you wanna call it.”

I really hope that if this is an actual account of what happened that night, Terrell is seeking help. This is incredibly heartbreaking.

**UPDATE**

A rep for Terrell Owens has released a statement saying that while the call is real, Terrell absolutely did not attempt suicide.

“The facts are that [T.O.’s assistant] arrived at his home that evening after he had already taken a sleeping aid to fall asleep. He was unresponsive because of this.”

“Unaware he had taken a sleeping aid prior to her arrival, his assistant became concerned and decided to call 911.”

“When the ambulance and police arrived, Owens was responsive and was not held in the hospital. Reports released with the 911 call today are misleading and not factual.”
