Televisa Deportes Reporter Marisol Gonzalez Causes A Stir At Super Bowl XLVI Media Day [Photos]

The Media has descended onto Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI: Patriots Vs. Giants. And in the same fashion of previous years, Mexican TV stations send out their sexiest female reporters to cover the event. The focus today is on Marisol Gonzalez, a reporter for Televisa Deportes ( a competitor of  Ines Sainz, Azteca.)

Marisol is obviously physically gifted, she’s HOT but… I don’t know how I feel about her ensemble selection. Let me state upfront before I get to deep in this topic. I don’t have an issue with what she’s wearing. Wait, not true, those “Pretty Woman” thigh highs are NOT the business, but anyway.

My issue with her wardrobe is that if I were to show up at a Super Bowl media event dressed in the same manner, my professionalism would be questioned. I’d say that even if a white woman showed up in the same fashion, there might be a few looks but it would never amount to what would happen if a black woman did it. Look, I understand that this is what THEY do. And by they, I mean those networks. We went through this with Ines Sainz a few years back during that Jets practice facility incident  I personally don’t have an issue with it. I don’t think it means she can’t ask credible football questions or has an ulterior motive, I’m just pointing out how things are handled.

Marisol & Ines

It’s so difficult for women in sports to be taken seriously at times. It’s probably one of the few lanes that being attractive can be a hinderance in getting ahead (unless of course you’re blonde but THAT is another conversation for another day.)

Guys, I know you’re just here for the photos. If you want to see more, like bikini photos and what not check out, BSO
