Tasha Marbury, “Basketball Wives” castmate and wife of Stephon Marbury claims she’s being stalked by obsessed groupie

Drama and reality show cast members go together like peanut butter and jelly. Add to that a reality show starlet in the making that is also married to a professional athlete, you already expect fireworks – either real or artificially created. The newest “Basketball Wives” Miami cast member is Tasha Marbury, wife of ex-NBA star, Stephon Marbury. Tasha claims she’s been stalked/harassed by a woman named Monet Merchand. Tasha claims the woman is obsessed with her husband – whom he allegedly never met per Tasha- and has taken to Twitter and blogs to stalk her.

Merchand says she had a relationship with Stephon whom she allegedly met via social media, and that Tasha is the one who is one fry short of a happy meal. Someone claiming to be her publicist sent an e-mail to Baller Alert, claiming that no police report has been filed and Tasha is doing all of this to drum up a storyline for her season of “Basketball Wives”:

The Lunatic along with Producers of #BBW Pitched this whole Story to the Media about the Young Monet Merchand being Obsessed to Create an image for her to  the World & Fans… But forgot a Major Detail…The Actual Police Report.
Monet Merchand & NY Authorities Contacted the Harrison NY Police Department only to Find out that there was NEVER an actual Harassment Report Made & They Coded it a 49/Obscene Phone call. Monet Merchand wasn’t even in The Police Data System Harrison NY police Department Confirmed That there was never a Report Made on Monet Merchand. They Also confirmed the call to be Bogus & they NEVER heard of a “TASHA MARBURY”… What a Disgrace & committing absolute *PERJURY* also known as forswearing, is the willful act of swearing a false oath or of falsifying an affirmation to tell the truth, whether spoken or in writing, concerning matters material to a judicial proceeding. Tasha Marbury has some serious Apologizing to do to Monet Merchand The Media & The World. & Tasha Marbury will be Held Liable for  Defamation of Character, False Suit, & Lying to The Media to Get famous!!

But, in doing a bit of digging, per Westchester News 12, a police report was filed with Harrison police by the Marburys and they’re investigating it.

A quick sweep of Merchand’s Twitter page reveals a few tweets where she refers to Tasha as a “fungus,” “Ridiculous & Obnoxious & the Equivalent of a “LEECH”… A Degenerate who is Noxious & Depraved! She has a #MentalDisease ”

It should also be noted that Monet is an aspiring rapper.
