Tami Roman says “Basketball Wives LA” faded away [photos]

“Basketball Wives Miami” star Tami Roman hit the red carpet for reality star Tamar Braxton’s baby shower at The Bel-Air hotel on Sunday. Tami said season five of BBWM will hit the air in August, after all the “Love & Hip-Hop” hype has wound down. Asked what we’ll see this season, Tami stated that she felt it was time to show another side of her personality. That she was very one dimensional in the past – she placed that blame on herself, not on the editing – and that this season was about opening up more. Showing the growth that’s taken place.

So of course we want to know what’s going on with “Basketball Wives LA.” Are the rumors true that it’s been canceled? Tami’s response:

“Is there tea on BBWLA? If there is any, it’s that they’ve simply faded away…”

Oddly enough, Laura Govan showed up as I was leaving. I really wish I had the chance to ask her what she thought about the slow fade and, find out what she plans on doing next. Other guests included rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny, Omarosa and of course all the Braxtons sisters- Toni, Tracy, Towanada and Trina.
