Suns forward Michael Beasley is in a bit of legal hot water. Last month, Beasely was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving with excessive speed, driving with expired registration and failure to display a license plate on the rear of the vehicle. Driving with a suspended license and excessive speeding are criminal traffic violations.
According to the report, on January 25th at 1:10 AM, Beasley’s 2009 Mercedes was going about 70 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone.
The gun was a Taurus 45 caliber that was loaded with one bullet in the chamber.
The car was impounded and Beasley and his passengers left the area on foot. He’s due in court February 11th. The Suns released a statement that they were aware of the traffic infractions and won’t be initiating in further disciplinary action.
