Streetball legend Tyrone “Alimoe” Evans passed away

Street ball legend and And 1 mixtape tour pioneer, Tyrone “Alimoe” Evans has passed away. Hailing from Harlem, Alimoe also known as “The Black Widow” reportedly suffered a seizure on Monday. Known for his crazy handles, Alimoe along with rafer “Skip to my lou,” The Professor and others helped introduce the excitement of the Rucker to the masses via the “And 1” tour and ESPN series.

What do you want to be remembered for? As somebody that made somebody else get up & do better. They don’t have to let me know that I lit their fire; just go out and do it. They don’t have to thank me and bring me out to the game; just go do it. Just knowing that that little kid watching me took something home with them. See, basketball is a teacher of life.
