Scottie Pippen involved in fight at NOBU in Malibu

NBA legend Scottie Pippen is accused of beating up a man over the weekend after the two had an altercation in the parking lot of Nobu restaurant in Malibu. A man who was at the same spot allegedly was snapping photos of Pippen and his family at dinner. When Scottie got up to leave, the man followed him to the parking lot where an argument ensued that resulted in the unidentified man taking a trip to the hospital with a head injury, where he was treated and released.

Pippen came in voluntarily to a Los Angeles County sheriff’s substation after he was named as a suspect in the altercation. He hasn’t been charged with anything but the situation is being described as “complicated.” Several patrons indicated the photo-taking man was quite inebriated.  A source told the NY Daily News that the man was aggressive, spit on Scottie and called him the N word…. complicated indeed.
