In basketball related news, Westbrook won’t be competing in Team USA this summer. Per Adrian Worjanowski of Yahoo, Russ has withdrawn from the two-month commitment and will skip the July training camp, the August exhibitions, and the tournament itself. Russ is coming off of three knee surgeries on his right knee in the last 15 months. He probably needs to rest it.
