Rookie USA launches in NY with fashion show featuring children of Knicks Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler & Amar’e Stoudemire [photos]

On Friday night in New York, Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and his wife Lala hosted a fashion show for a new children’s store, “Rookie USA.” The high-end children’s shop is located on the upper westside and will feature an iPads, a Kinect virtual sports station, a photo booth (where kids can customize their own sports cards) and a virtual basketball court. Plus all the latest in Nike, Converse, Levis and Jordans. What kid wouldn’t love to go there?

The fashion show featured who’s who Knicks and Nets young royalty. In addition to Carmelo and Lala’s son Kiyan, Amar’e Stoudemire’s children, Tyson Chandler’s , Brooklyn Nets Deron Williams and New York Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia all worked the runway for the event.
