Ronaiah Tuiasosopo set to appear on “Dr. Phil” to discuss his role in the Manti Te’o hoax

I know you are probably tired of hearing about the whole Manti Te’o fake-dead-girlfriend thing. But, in case you were curious to hear the motivation behind Ronaiah Tuiasosopo’s plot to fool Te’o into believing Lennay Kekua was a real live woman, he’s sharied his version of events with Dr. Phil.

According to TMZ, Tuiasosopo and Dr. Phil watched Te’o’s interview with Katie Couric on Thursday and discussed it at length. Tuiasosopo allegedly very emotional at times during the interview.

I have a question. Why are we interviewing Tuiasosopo if it was in fact his younger, female cousin Tino Tuiasosopo who had the conversations with Manti? Did he give his cousin notes to read from in the conversations? What are his feelings for Manti? What made him choose Manti? I guess I’m like Nev of  “Catfish” I’m curious about what Tuiasosopo’s mindset was.

Right now there isn’t a date for the show to air, I guess my questions will have to hold out for a bit longer.
