Remember That Time LeBron James & Rich Paul Performed “My Prerogative?” [Video]

It honor of Flashback Friday, and Drake’s hit hosting turn at the 2014 ESPY awards, I thought I’d take it back to 2007. That was the year that Drake’s “La Familia,” LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavilers were swept in the finals by the San Antonio Spurs. Lebron also hosted the ESPYS that summer.

King James and his current agent Rich Paul performed his version of Bobby Brown’s 1988 hit, “My Prerogative.” Bobby’s signature gumby cut included.

I love that the line “Spurs didn’t let me do my thang” is currently accurate. 7 years later, King James continues to do things his way. He’s asking his fans to help him select which jersey number he should rock with for his return to Cleveland, 6 or 23.

Of course I have to give you the original version with the KANG of R&B, Bobby Brown.
