Rajon Rondo celebrates the cover of Boston Common magazine [photos]

During the playoffs, Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo was one of the athletes who we looked forward to checking out his postgame ensemble. Rondo celebrated his cover of Boston Common magazine this week. In the interview, Rondo dubbed himself the best dressed Celtic, that includes the coaching staff, and he also gave his commentary of the other fashionistos in the NBA:

“Some guys will just wear anything,” he says, “but I really care about my appearance.” He leans toward European designers, with Yves Saint Laurent being a favorite, especially for suiting. And he’s a not-so-closeted shoe junkie, harboring somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 pairs, including Lanvin, Louboutin, and John Varvatos.

The Liberty Hotel was the scene for the cover party and in addition to Rondo and his girlfriend Ashley, teammates Chris Wilcox, Paul Pierce and his wife Julie plus more were on hand to celebrate.
Here’s a peek into Rondo’s closet curtsy of his stylist, Calyann Barnett.
