Nike Air MAG AKA “Marty McFlys” Back To The Future Launch Event [Photos]

Thursday night I attended the launch of  the Nike Air Mag or, the “Marty McFly’s” held in Hollywood at  The Montalban theater. 1500 pairs will be released for auction (last night  UK rapper Tinie Tempah took home the first pair for the reasonable price of $37,000. All proceeds from the shoes will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for funding research to fight Parkinson’s Disease .

The original 2015

Fox, the star of the 1980s movie franchise, was diagnosed with the disease in 1991.

Check out the “lost footage” which features Kevin Durant, Christopher Lloyd (he was there last night), Tinker Hattfield (the man responsible for designing the Air Mag and your favorite Jordan’s)
