NBA legend Bill Russell is reportedly okay after collapsing during a speaking engagement on Thursday in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
The 80-year-old Hall of Fame center was speaking at the Hyatt Regency resort in Incline Village, when he reportedly got light headed and started to sway at the podium, before falling backwards. As a precautionary measure he was taken to the hospital.
Russell won 11 NBA championships with the Celtics- the most by any NBA player- and most recently awarded San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard with the NBA Finals MVP trophy last month.
