NBA Analyst Kenny Smith and family headed to reality TV

Another ex-professional athlete is making the jump to reality TV. NBA analyst Kenny Smith and his family have a new reality show heading to TNT’s sister station, TBS. The show will feature Smith, his wife, Price Is Right model Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith, and their five children ages 2-20.

The Smiths will be shot in LA, where Price Is Right is shot, and in Atlanta, where Smith co-anchors Turner’s NBA studio show during the basketball season. The series will focus on the two and their five kids aged 2-20 and their whirlwind lifestyles.

Don’t look for any salacious headlines from this reality show. Think more Run’s House. Kenny clearly has an interest in the Hollywood limelight. His family was featured on “Inside the NBA” in a reality TV-esque spot for Hyundai entitled, “Trash talk with the Smiths.”

He also  was pushing his daughter Kayla’s music career. I’m sure that will be a featured storyline for the show.
