Little League Baseball sensation Mo’ne Davis continues to impress. Davis recently released her first book, “Remember My Name,” and while on spring break, she’s been on a mini-press tour. During a recent ESPN appearance, Davis was asked her thoughts about Bloomsberg University baseball player, Joey Casselberry, who was dismissed from his team after a Tweet he posted about Davis went viral.
“Disney is making a movie about Mo’ne Davis? WHAT A JOKE. That s*ut got rocked by Nevada.”
Bloomsburg University acted swiftly, dismissing Casselberry from the baseball team. The University stated that his offensive tweet violated the athletic department’s social media policy.
Davis has a big heart, she reportedly reached out to Bloomberg’s president, David L. Soltz to ask that Casselberry be reinstated. During her “Sports Center” appearance, Davis said “everyone deserves a second chance.”
Mo’Ne seems to have a great support system around her.
