Miss America, Laura Kaeppeler Sends Out A Bird Call To Greenbay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers may have lost to the New York Giants on Sunday in NFL playoff action but QB Aaron Rodgers may have come up on a nifty consolation prize. Newly crowned Miss America, Laura Kaeppeler (Miss Wisconsin) had a unique introduction for herself during Saturday’s pageant.

Kaeppeler introduced herself to pageant viewers by referencing her home state’s Green Bay Packers, the NFL’s defending Super Bowl champions.

“If you’re watching, Aaron Rodgers, call me,”

And that boys and girls, is what I like to refer to as a bird call. Not sure what that means? A bird call is a method usually utilized in social media- but really any public platform that will reach a large number of people- where an individual makes a statement that will illicit responses from the opposite sex.

Some of my favorite “bird calls” happen on Twitter. Let me give you an example;

“Just landed in L.A. what’s good?”

From there, the goal is that those in LA will speak up, therefore giving you options A,B and C for your time in the City of Angeles. See how that works! :giggle:

Options are good, right?
