Mike Tyson will make his dramatic TV debut as a convicted murder on death row in an upcoming episode of “Law & Order: SVU.”
Tyson’s character, Reggie Rhodes, is a death row inmate whose violent past might possibly be attributed to events in his childhood. The case attracts the attention of Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and defense attorney Bayard Ellis (recurring guest star Andre Braugher) during an SVU investigation.
We’ve seen Mike in the “Hangover,” caught him playing himself again on “Entourage” but this will be the first dramatic role the former boxing champ has attempted. His one-man Broadway show is gearing up for a 10 week, 36-city tour.
