In the 80’s and early 90’s, two people came to mind when I thought of Chicago. Michael Jordan and Oprah Winfrey. Tuesday night Oprah filmed her final show at the United Center (yes the show that caused the Eastern conference finals to start a day early.)
The event was star-studded filled with Hollywood notables like Tom Cruise, Will & Jada Smith, Madonna, Jamie Foxx, Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce and bunch more.
One of several touching moments was when the the Chicago Bulls theme music started and the announcer began with “And now…” of course Hall of Famer Michael Jordan stepped on to the stage. He offered these words to Oprah:
