Metta World Peace Says Celebs Shouldn’t Visit Lamar Odom

Lamar Odom‘s condition continues to improve. Over the weekend Lamar spoke, asking for his children. As of Monday, further advancements include; breathing on his own and starting physical therapy.

Although LO is not totally out of the woods, he hasn’t had any setbacks over the last few days, after breathing without the help of a ventilator.

Odom has experienced frequent fatigue and has received constant treatment on his lungs and kidneys, sources said. Odom could also have serious brain damage considering a 911 call released last Wednesday reported Odom took cocaine and 10 doses of a sexual performance enhancer over three days.

Lamar’s former Clippers teammates Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan have visited him in at Sunset hospital in Las Vegas, and Kim posted a message about the power of prayer.

Lamar’s former teammate, Metta World Peace has come out and stated that all the celebrity visits are unnecessary. That those visits are taking time away from his two children – Destiny and Lamar Jr. – spending time with Lamar.

“This is nothing against Khloe [Kardashian],” he told the Los Angeles Daily News “This is for the celebrities that are coming to see Lamar. They should know they’re taking away from Lamar’s children.”

“The only Kardashian that needs to be there is Khloe,” he said. “Not every Kardashian needs to be around. They need to keep it simple, so Lamar’s children can see him whenever they want to see him. They’re waiting in line to see their own father.”
