Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki supported his wife, Jessica Olsson Nowitzki on Saturday night as she co-chaired a benefit for MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation. The RE: DEFINE art auction was held at the Goss-Michael Foundation.
The event showcased pieces from several young British artists but the package that secured the benefits goal of $1 million was one that received the assist from Jessica’s personal All-Star. Dirk included himself in an auction package that included a postgame visit to the Mavericks locker room, autographs and pretty much anything else the buyer wanted.
“You can even meet Mark Cuban,” Dirk said modestly, amid chuckles from the crowd.
