Magic Johnson proud of openly gay son EJ [photos]

Confession time, I live in LA and it wasn’t a secret that Magic Johnson’s son EJ was openly gay. Or, that Magic and Cookie were proud of their son. I mean, parents are supposed to be proud of their child, correct? He’s in college at NYU and by all accounts seems to be a great guy. Oh, did I mention that he’s FLY as sh*t?!? Earvin Johnson the 3rd or EJ3 ended up on TMZ while out with a friend the other night when he was asked to comment on his dad’s famous sports connections, the Dodgers and the Lakers.

EJ3 wants success for both teams- me too EJ!! – and has prayers up for the Lakers, who at the moment are a half a game behind the Utah Jazz for the final playoff spot. But back to the subject at hand. I like EJ and his sister Elisa. They’re super stylish and more importantly, good kids.

The Lakers legend tells TMZ, “Cookie and I love EJ and support him in every way.”  Magic goes on, “We’re very proud of him.”

The Chanel Bag is BLAZING! I’m here for it and slightly jealous of what I imagine his bag collection is like.
