Love & Instagram: NFL Edition Featuring RG3

For years athletes have been utilizing social media as a dating service. All the DM blow ups, nude leaks and thumbs up for perfect booties can actually lead to love. This week our examples come from the Cleveland Browns.

Earlier this week it was announced that Browns’ QB Robert Griffin III has filed for divorce from his wife of three years, Rebecca Liddicoat.

Not only does RG3 have a new girlfriend, he’s already gotten her name tatted on him.

The QB is dating 23-year-old Florida State heptathlete Grete Sadeiko. The two reportedly met on Instagram in January, with his wife finding out about the relationship in April. Of course there have been clues on Twitter, including RG3 going on “liking” sprees and Grete shouting out her boo before training camp began.

Rumors of RG3 cheating have been circulating since the couple’s wedding day. RG3 and Rebecca had a daughter in 2015.

RG3 joins DB Jordan Poyer who also found love via IG. He’s dating IG model Rachel Bush.
