Shaquille O’Neal‘s name ended up in some reality TV/Instagram beef over the weekend. This time, the drama comes courtesy of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood.
Back in 2014, when the show first launched, Monice Slaughter admitted that she used to date the basketball Hall of Famer. This season on the show, Moniece is having a battle of petty with a few of the cast members and her old situation with Shaq was thrown into the fray. Moniece and castmate Jason Lee – a blogger for Hollywood Unlocked – are beefing over Jason threatening to post an allegedly sex tape featuring Moniece. He also threw out on social media that Moniece was pregnant by Shaq while he was still married to Shaunie O’Neal.
Moniece shot the down rumor, clarifying that she and Shaq met in 2012 -which would be after his divorce from Shaunie – Hoopz may have a question however. She also says it was impossible for her to get pregnant by him because they used condoms, she had an IUD (birth control), and Shaq had a vasectomy, preventing him from having any more children than the five he has.
Here’s an excerpt from Moniece during the original VH1 interview.
I can’t lie. It’s pretty hard. It’s hard to watch because I love the f*** out of my kid and to be made out to be a homeless, deadbeat mother is a hard pill to swallow. I can be out there f***ing for a check. I could’ve stayed withShaquille O’Neal and gotten full custody. My son loves his father so I’m not going to do that. I work my ass to the f***ing bone.
Moniece also says she won’t address the issue anymore because she plans to take legal action against Jason.
