Congratulations are in order for Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. While in Baltimore for the Ed Block Courage awards, Johnson popped the question to his girlfriend Brittney McNorton. McNorton is a promotions manager in the Lions front office

Asked why he decided to pop the question in Baltimore, Johnson said, “The situation was just right, just happened to be right, we were on vacation, so why not?”

The couple had a bit of baby mama drama last May, when Brittany was accused of threatening to “molly wop” Calvin’s child’s mother.
