Life During The Lockout: Broncos Safety David Bruton a Substitute teacher

NFL players have continued to explore many options during the lockout. Denver Broncos safety, David Bruton opted to become a substitute teacher in his hometown of Miamisburg, Ohio.

The pay is only $90 per day but for Burton, it’s about more than the money.

“I’m just trying to keep busy,” Bruton said, “and it’s nice to be able to give back to my community.”

Burton graduated with a degree in Political Science from Notre Dame. See you never know how your degree can benefit you! An added bonus, Burton gets to spend more time with his 5 year old son who still lives in Miamisburg.
Schools almost out so I’m not sure how much time he’ll actually get to spend in the classroom but hey, there’s always summer school right!
I love seeing stories like this. I hope he got his braids touched up before he stepped into the classroom though. Yikes!
