LeBron James Dons Pads To Workout With High School Football Team

Maybe LeBron James just missed the feeling of being at a team workout. The Miami Heat star donned full pads on Tuesday afternoon and took part in St. Vincent-St. Mary’s (his old high school) varsity football practice.

“I not gonna lie, it was pretty cool to see him out there,” said starting quarterback Kevin Besser…

“He caught everything, he didn’t drop a pass,” the quarterback said. “I probably threw six or seven passes his way and he went up and got everything.

People forget that LeBron played football during his high school years as well. Of course the players weren’t allowed to tackle him but I’m sure that didn’t matter. How many people can say they had a FOOTBALL workout with King James.

Although if he’s planning a career switch, much like when he was IN high school, high school players aren’t the right group for him to test his skill set with.
