Lawsuit filed by Magic Johnson’s former personal flight attendant

When you’ve reached a certain level of financial status, You develop certain expectations. So the idea that Magic Johnson has certain requirements for his in-flight care takers doesn’t sound that far fetched. But one of Magic’s flight attendant’s claims that Magic fired her because he wanted to trade her in for a younger model.

Lanita Thomas has filed suit against Magic claiming the former Lakers superstar fired her even after she squeezed his Red Vines to make sure they were extremly fresh and hit up special delis to ensure Magic’s favorite turkey meats were on board for his private jaunts.

In addition to wrongful termination, Lanita also claims Magic failed to pay her overtime and provide her with legally required breaks during her work shifts. She’s asking for unspecified damages.

This is tricky, was Lanita an at-will employee? She went the extra mile but sometimes you just can’t provide what the client is looking for. She admits she was 15 minutes late, if you know you’re on a short leash it sort of doesn’t pay to hand to cut off an inch or two on your own.
