Well, the charity component is back (at least for now) on Basketball Wives… The LA version. Thursday night in West Hollywood, Laura Govan hosted a “Welcome to L.A” party at Code C. Naturally filming was taking place.
In attendance were some of her Basketball Wives cast mates Draya(first time I’ve seen her photographed with the rest of the cast), Malaysia Pargo and Jackie Christie (I really hope Tonya Williams has made on the show otherwise it’s a interesting that she’s randomly just at things they film in L.A.- for both casts.) Notably absent were Laura’s sister Gloria (she might be in the bay with Matt, after all whose going to control him while he’s punching players in Pro Am games) and Ron Artest’s partner, Kimsha.
I guess that means the drama has officially kicked off with the cast, another cast member, Imani posted on Twitter that she was happy to finally be spending time with her “real friends.” Yikes!
Hype or otherwise, we’ll see how it all goes down on August 29th. Proceeds from this event benefited the East Oakland Youth Development.
