Lamar Odom popped for DUI

Things are moving from bad to worst for Lamar Odom. The former Lakers/Clippers star was popped by California Highway Patrol early Friday morning for a DUI. Lamar reportedly refused to take a chemical test and failed several field sobriety tests per TMZ.

He was pulled over on the 101 Freeway for going too slow — 50 MPH.  Cops say Odom had been driving in a “serpentine manner.”

Lamar initially did not respond to cops, and drove 3 exits before finally coming to a stop.  Law enforcement sources tell TMZ he showed obvious signs of intoxication.

The arrest comes after Odom was swarmed by paparazzi at a Taco Bell while they asked if the crack rumors were true. The Lakers were reportedly considering offering LO a contract if he got into rehab and got himself together. An intervention with both Lakers and Clippers players took place on Monday at a LA area hotel before Lamar returned home to reunite with his reality TV star wife, Khloe Kardashian.
