Sunday night in Washington DC, The Hip Hop Inaugural Ball took place at at the Harmen Center in Washington D.C. The black-tie charity event was produce by Russell Simmons and the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network and hosted by Knicks star Carmelo Anthony’s wife Lala and E! host, Terence J.
In addition to celebrating President Obama’s second term, several of the biggest old-school rap artists were honored including Doug E. Fresh, Swizz Beatz, MC Lyte, Fab Five Freddy and former NAACP President Dr. Benjamin Chavis.
Some of the night’s attendees include; Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz and his girlfriend, Elaina Wately, former NBA star Dikembe Mutumbo, designer Vanessa Simmons, model Tyson Beckford, Jadakiss, 2 Chainz and Meek Mill.
Lala looks amazing! Her look was put together by her stylist Jason Bolden. The dress was a vintage piece.
