Lakers Forward Matt Barnes & Basketball Wives Gloria Govan Are A Wrap

I received an e-mailed statement today from Matt Barnes publicist.

Statement from Lakers Forward Matt Barnes:
I’d like to address the rumors surrounding mine and Gloria (Govan’s) relationship.   We have reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways at this time.  We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best.

And my immediate thought is, really? Have there been that many questions swirling around their relationship? When they canceled the wedding, the writing was pretty much on the wall. Plus, they haven’t even been pictured together at any events lately. We all know the drill.

I guess he wanted to get his side out before today’s episode of Basketball Wives LA aired. So is Gloria going to move back to Orlando with Laura and Gilbert Arenas, stay in L.A. or back to the bay with her family? Basketball Wives LA season 2 storyline just appeared.
