Kris Humphries is trying to re-establish himself as a basketball player and NOT a failed reality TV-star. The soon-to-be former “Mr. Kardashian” is a free agent. The Hump is coming off of his best season as a pro in his 7 years- I still say that’s the Kardashian effect at work, See Reggie Bush’s Super Bowl season and Lamar Odom’s 6th man of the year run for further proof. Humphries was a most improved player candidate and is reportedly in the best shape of his career.
How he managed that while traveling all summer and balancing that whole 72-day dream wedding/nightmare honeymoon scenario is perhaps the better testament to his focus and dedication than anything he could say in an interview, but he tried.
Humphries has to wait for the bigger players to land before we see what develops with him. The Nets are interested in re-signing him and so are the Hornets and Nuggets. In the meantime, his TV days aren’t quite over, in addition to appearing on Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kris is also featured on an upcoming episode of “Man Caves” where his Minnesota bachelor pad received a make over.
