Kobe Bryant would’ve got players cut from the team for not believing the Lakers will make the playoffs

Kobe Bryant appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night. In the interview, Kobe discussed how competitive his six-year-old daughter is, if this is the roughest season in his career and Dennis Rodman heading over to North Korea. One of the funniest moments in the interview came when Jimmy asked what would Kobe have done if any of teammates weren’t on board with his playoff guarantee. Kobe said he would’ve called the Buss family and got them up out of there.

 

 

“If anybody in that locker room would have said, ‘Well, I don’t know if we’re going to make it,’ I would have called the Buss family and said, ‘Cut this guy right now!’ Get him outta there!’”

 

I think part of Kobe’s openess now is that he knows the end of his career isn’t that far away.When Kobe was younger, we didn’t get to see much of him away from the court. As he’s become older, he’s relaxed and become a bit more open. Who knew he had a sense of humor.

Kobe also said that he doesn’t care if he’s playing a little kid one-on-one, he’s not letting the kid win. He also expressed how the end is near and he’s not leaving the Lakers organization.

 

Also note the fact that Kobe added a bit of flair in his look for the show. Kobe opted to rock a pair of leopard Louboutin sneakers.
