On Sunday while the Lakers faced off against the Spurs in the first game between the teams for the NBA playoffs, Kobe hopped on Twitter and gave his thoughts on the action like everyone else. It was the perfect opportunity to see what a player of Kobe’s caliber looks for during a game. And it’s also something that several players have done in the past.
But of course, anything involving the “Black Mamba” can never just be simple. During the postgame conference, a reporter asked what head coach Mike D’Antoni thought of Kobe tweeting during the game. D’Antoni rolled his eyes and said he’s a fan like everyone else. Check the post game conference video at the 2:43 mark.
Of course, this is where the drama is sparked. Kobe has decided that he won’t live tweet games anymore because he doesn’t want to be a distraction to his team.
Kobe also shared a warm moment with Phil Jackson over the pain of not being there to help his teammates win.
