Amar’e Stoudemire wasn’t just attending Macy’s Fashion’s Night Out festivities as a spectator, he was also unveiling his collaborative fashion line with designer Rachel Roy.
The collection includes casual items like tees and sweats to edgier pieces like a cropped motorcycle jacket, leather hooded vest and leather shorts. Prices range from $59 to $229 and while most of the collection is Knick centered, there are a few other teams included.
The fashion line features the words style and power prominently on T-shirts.
“ He is a power forward, right?” And I am style. But more than anything, it’s about how those two things merge.” – Rachel Roy
Check out a few photos:
The line is only sold at Macy’s and is part of Roy’s secondary line, Rachel Rachel Roy. Roy said she knew very little about basketball before working with Stoudemire but is now a Knicks fan.
Random side, how is it that she didn’t know anything about basketball and her ex, Yinka Daire played in the NBA?
Anyways, I actually see a couple of pieces I’d be interested in checking out in person.
