Kevin Garnett & Carmelo Anthony clown Craig Sager’s All-Star weekend ensemble [video]

Honey Nut Cheerios took on a whole new meaning this year after an on court altercation between Knicks Carmelo Anthony and Celtics Kevin Garnett continued into the locker room and halls of Madison Square Garden. Melo said he and KG spoke on the phone a short time after and squashed the beef but the question lingered, are they really “cool.”

Apparently so, the two are teammates this weekend for the NBA All-Star game and in a show of solidarity at the practice session Saturday morning joined together to get on Craig Sager and his robin’s egg blue ensemble for the day.

During the morning media session, KG also said that he wouldn’t waive his no trade clause for any team stating, “I bleed green.” There are rumors of a proposed trade of KG to the Clippers for Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan. He’s not the only Celtic in the trade rumor mill, the Lakers and Celtics are alleged to be in discussion for a swap of Dwight Howard for the injured Rajon Rondo. February 21st is the NBA’s trading deadline.
