Moore, Oklahoma was hit by a tornado earlier this week that devastated that community. The Oklahoma City Thunder immediately jumped into action lending a helping hand. Kevin Durant opened his wallet to donate $1 million and the Thunder organization and the NBA followed suit. KD also reached out to his shoe company, Nike and they are donating $1 million worth of product to the victims. Durant, Russell Westbrook along with other teammates and Thunder personnel toured Moore on Wednesday afternoon, surveying the destruction, meeting with residents, offering an autograph here, a picture there, a few moments of conversation offering comfort and whatever else they could provide to the community.
