The Kansas City Chiefs attended a private memorial service after their Wednesday practice for Jovan Belcher. Belcher, who this pass weeked murdered his girlfriend then commited suicide, was eulogized by Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli.
Pioli, along with head coach Romeo Crennel and defensive coordinator, Larry Gibbs, witnessed Belcher take his own life in the parking lot of the Arrowhead Stadium complex on Saturday morning. Those who attended the memorial service included Chiefs players, coaches, and other personnel including owner Clark Hunt.
