Judge Dismisses Gilbert Arenas Lawsuit Against Laura Govan Because Of Twitter

Victory #2 for Basketball Wives. GIlbert Arenas lawsuit attempting to block his ex-fiance Laura Govan from appearing on the Los Angeles version has been denied. The reason for the judge’s decision, Twitter.

Gilbert’s claim that details of his family life should not be aired on the reality show — is undercut by the fact he has “tens of thousands of Twitter users who follow [him] as he tweets about a variety of mundane occurrences.”

Not for a moment did I believe Gilbert would be successful with this suit. It’s interesting when the tables turn, I guess jocks better start the confidentiality agreement process early. But even with that, how are you going to deny someone’s right to tell their own story?
