Welcome to New York Jason Kidd. The newly signed Knicks point guard was arrested early Sunday morning on a DWI. Check the details below.
Kidd, 39, was arraigned on a misdemeanor DWI charge on Sunday morning in Southampton Town Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. Kidd was the only passenger in his 2010 Cadillac Escalade where he crashed into a telephone pole at around 2:00 AM. He was treated at for minor injuries and then transferred to the South Hampton police station.
Kidd and his wife Porschla attended singer Ne-Yo’s Compound Foundation event earlier in the evening at the estate of Bill and Michele Nuti, CEO of NCR and Chairman of Sprint.
Per TMZ, Kidd was so drunk that he had to be carried out of the party and at one point was almost literally swinging form the chandeliers. I mean, nobody thought to take his keys?
