Jalen Rose has provided lots of insight into the lifestyle of a professional athlete since he has crossed over to the other side and climbed into the broadcast booth. In a recent podcast, Jalen discussed JR Smith – and most NBA players – petulance to party and if it actually harms their game.
The average person probably doesn’t have an up close and personal view of a professional athletes life. NBA games take place in the evening thus leaving time for naps and all other things. I actually think this issue gets blown out of proportion. Jalen made the link between 9 to 5ers headed to happy hour when they get off work. I think that was an excellent example.
