I don’t know how many of you remember the 1985 Chicago Bears “rap” video, The Superbowl shuffle. (an updated version was done a few years back with some of the players for a commercial) It was HILARIOUS.
Well, FX’s hit show “The League” has reenacted that famous piece of musical history but instead of the Bears, it features the character of Ruxin (who won his fantasy football league in season 2) with three of the players from his fantasy football team; Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew, Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice, and Falcons cornerback Brent Grimes.
The League is a show about a group of Chicago friends and their fantasy football league with “Shiva” being the championship trophy–it’s named after one of the character’s ex-girlfriends.I don’t play fantasy football but I know the love for it is serious. Can you imagine if someone from a league you’re in pulled something like this off?! COMEDY!
