Per the New York Daily News,  Jeter, popped the question to his girlfriend of three years, 25-year-old Sports Illustrated cover girl Hannah Davis.

Source says Davis already ‘has the ring’ and that her family is very happy 

Last year Jeter, 41, said he was retiring from the New York Yankees at the end of the season because he eventually wanted to start a family 

Jeter has been linked to a number of famous women during his long career, including Mariah Carey, actress Jessica Alba, model Adrian Lima, actress Gabrielle Union and actress Minka Kelly.
